Former Disney Channel child star Skai Jackson was arrested after a physical altercation with her boyfriend at Universal city walk. According to law enforcement sources, deputies were called to the popular Los Angeles entertainment complex after security personnel observed Jackson and her boyfriend engaged in a heated argument.
According to TMZ and witnesses, the actress is seen allegedly pushing her boyfriend multiple times during the dispute. Security officers at the scene intervened, detaining the couple until law enforcement arrived.
During the ordeal, the “Jessie” star revealed that they were happily engaged and expecting their first child together, however, after security reviewed the footage, it was confirmed that Jackson indeed pushed her boyfriend severally. The pregnancy announcement left many fans shook, especially under the circumstances in which it was announced. “Waking up to news of Skai Jackson being arrested, engaged and pregnant?!”
After Skai Jackson was indeed found guilty of pushing her boyfriend during their heated argument, she was arrested for misdemeanor domestic battery. She was released a few hours later. The case will now be reviewed by the L.A. County District Attorney’s Office to decide if formal charges will be filed.
Skai has kept pretty quiet about her relationship, not posting about her boyfriend on social media or revealing who she is in a relationship with. Still, fans managed to piece together the little information she has posted to find him on social media, using his distinct hand tattoo to place him. It was revealed that he goes by the handle richnviolent, which is ironical considering the circumstances.
Skai Jackson has joined the list of Disney stars who have encountered issues with the law. Others have included singer and actress Demi Lovato, Britney Spears and Lindsay Lohan. Jackson and her boyfriend are yet to confirm the pregnancy rumours, the cause of their fight and the arrest.
