Tom Brady's son just marked a significant milestone! On Thursday, August 22, the 47-year-old former NFL star posted a series of photos on Instagram celebrating his son John "Jack" Edward Thomas's 17th birthday. In one touching image, Brady smiles while posing with Jack, who is nearly as tall as him. The two lookalikes stand close together on a golf course.
Other photos include Jack with his siblings, 11-year-old Vivian and 14-year-old Benjamin, along with clips of Jack golfing with his dad.
"Happy 17th birthday to the kindest, sweetest, most thoughtful 17-year-old I know. You're truly a blessing in my life, and I'm so grateful to see you grow into a young man," Brady captioned the post.
"Your love for family, friends, school, sports, and your dedication to everything you do are just a few of your incredible traits."
"I treasure every moment with you and value our time together. (Though I have to admit, my least favorite thing is that you can beat me one-on-one now 🙄😂)," he joked, wrapping up the post by wishing his son a happy birthday and expressing his endless love.
Brady shares Jack with ex Bridget Moynahan and his younger children, Benjamin and Vivian, with ex Gisele Bündchen.
In April, Brady appeared on DeepCut with VicBlends and spoke about his son Jack. "My oldest, Jack, is an amazing young man. Straight As, and he carries himself so well around others. I see him at 16, and I'm amazed at how mature he is," Brady said.
"[He] lives in New York City, and he pours his heart into everything he does. Honestly, he constantly impresses me with who he is."
Brady reflected on parenting, saying, "You get better at it over time. As a young parent, you're figuring it out as you go. You're trying things for the first time, so you're not always sure of the right thing to say. But with experience, you improve, gain a better understanding, and keep honing your skills as a parent."
