Kelly Ripa is not your typical mother. In reality, the Emmy winner's answer to the topless sunbathing photo that her and Mark Consuelos' daughter Lola Consuelos shared on Instagram on August 22 with the remark, "Is this demure?" was deserving of recognition.
Like the viral TikTok craze that influencer Jools Lebron created, the Live With Kelly and Mark cohost commented on the post, "It's very mindful," without missing a beat.
A carousel of pictures with Lola wearing a bandana and not much else is matched to her song "Paranoia Silverlining." In contrast, she can be seen sunbathing her back and lying on her stomach in the second picture while donning a moss green bikini.
It should come as no surprise that the veteran talk show host seemed unfazed by her daughter's provocative photo. In addition to their on-camera flirting on Live, she and Mark frequently post pictures of themselves intoxicating each other on social media.
The duo discussed how their 28-year marriage and cohosting Live With Kelly and Mark together have affected their relationship back in April.
Michael Consuelos, 27, and Joaquin Consuelos, 21, are Kelly's boys with Mark. "I just feel like a good marriage comes from within," Kelly said to E! News at the time. "And it makes no difference what line of work you're in. No matter what your profession, if you have a strong foundation at home, you will always have one."
Regarding their daughter Lola, 23, who graduated from New York University in 2023, she has gained recognition for herself because of her stunning voice and outstanding internet renditions of popular songs, such as Sabrina Carpenter's "Espresso."
She has also drawn a lot of influence from some of the biggest musical performers of today. Kelly talked earlier this month about the Disney Channel personality who served as an inspiration to her only child.
While hosting the Disney Legends Awards on August 11, Kelly said to Francesca Amiker of E! News, "Miley Cyrus has been such a singular influence in her life." And in our home, Hannah Montana was a really popular show.
