Yolanda Hadid is set to tie the knot! The 60-year-old model and former reality TV star has announced her engagement to longtime partner Joseph Jingoli. The exciting news was confirmed to People on Thursday, August 29.
Hadid shared that Jingoli popped the question two years ago while they were in Holland. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum revealed this detail in an interview with People, where she also mentioned that the couple met in Pennsylvania in 2017, soon after she relocated and bought a farm there.
In a 2018 conversation with People Now, Hadid reflected on her relationship journey, explaining that she had taken a break from dating to focus on herself after her divorce from David Foster. During this time, she created what she called a "love spiral," listing all the qualities she desired in a partner. To her surprise, Jingoli walked into her life not long after.
Dealing with chronic Lyme disease since 2012, Hadid emphasized that Jingoli's physical appearance wasn't the only factor that drew her to him. She explained that they connected on a deeper level, especially since both had faced life-threatening situations. This shared experience gave them a unique perspective on life, leading them to cherish every moment together. "Why wait? Let's just go for it and enjoy every day," Hadid expressed.
In 2020, Hadid openly shared her deep affection for Jingoli, who is the CEO of a construction and development firm. The couple celebrated their two-year anniversary in 2021, with Hadid posting a heartfelt tribute on Instagram. She wrote, "All my life I prayed for someone like you!!" along with several photos of the pair. Hadid thanked Jingoli for being a steady, positive presence in her life and for being the most honorable man she knows. She ended the post by wishing him a happy anniversary and expressing her love and appreciation for him.
