Chris Hemsworth celebrated Australian Father's Day in true style, enjoying a motorcycle adventure with his dad, Craig Hemsworth, and brother, Luke Hemsworth, on Sunday, September 1st. The 41-year-old actor marked the occasion by sharing a series of photos from their ride on Instagram, capturing the essence of the day with a selfie of the trio.

"Happy Father's Day here in Australia! Had a great ride with Dad and my brother," the Thor star wrote in the caption, giving a shoutout to Harley-Davidson for providing his "trusty two-wheeled steed."

In the photos, Chris is seen sporting a black leather jacket, while his older brother Luke, 43, pairs a black jacket with a white graphic T-shirt. Their father, Craig, completes the trio's coordinated look with a black jacket over a blue T-shirt. The post also includes solo shots of Chris on his motorcycle, looking back with a confident smile, followed by another group selfie against the backdrop of a picturesque field at sunset. The final image humorously shows Chris posing on his bike while his dad photobombs from behind.

Earlier this year, Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga writer-director George Miller shared an interesting tidbit with PEOPLE, revealing that Chris's father, Craig, had once spent time with the biker gang featured in the original Mad Max movie. Miller even hinted that Craig came close to joining the 1979 film as a cop seeking revenge during Australia's societal and ecological collapse.

In Furiosa, released in May, Chris channels his wild side, portraying a warlord who rides a chariot made of motorcycles. Reflecting on his upbringing, Chris has often spoken about the strong influence of his parents, who worked in child protection. In a 2023 interview with El Pais, he expressed admiration for his father's selflessness, saying, "My dad put aside his own life experiences to help children. That sense of service and putting others first was a huge inspiration for me."
