Travis Kelce recently shared more about his relationship with Taylor Swift, offering insights into their time together on stage during her London Eras Tour in June. Appearing on the Rich Eisen Show on September 3, the Kansas City Chiefs star, 34, recalled joining Swift, 34, during her performance of "I Can Do It with a Broken Heart" and revealed another endearing nickname for the pop icon.
When asked about any preparations before his onstage appearance, Kelce admitted there wasn't much involved. "Taylor knew that once the lights were on, I'd have a blast," Kelce explained. "She made sure I was in a comfortable part of the show, so all I had to do was enjoy the moment without messing anything up."
Kelce humorously added that his biggest concern was not dropping Swift while carrying her during their segment. "That would've been the most embarrassing thing ever," he joked. "Just getting her safely to the couch was the toughest part."
The NFL player also shared that Swift made sure he was comfortable with the idea of joining her on stage. "Oh, absolutely," Kelce said. "She double-checked with me, asking, 'Are you sure you want to do this?' But she was so fun and easygoing about it. I'm always up for a good time on stage with Tay Tay," he added, revealing one of his affectionate nicknames for her.
Swift, too, fondly remembered their shared stage moment. In a heartfelt Instagram post on June 24, she wrote, "I'm still cracking up/swooning over @killatrav's Eras Tour debut 🥰 I'll never forget these shows."
Earlier in January, during an episode of the New Heights podcast with his brother Jason, Kelce sweetly referred to Swift as "Tay," further highlighting the playful and close nature of their relationship.
