A unique glimpse into Kendra Wilkinson's life as a working mother of a preteen and a teen is being shared. The Girls Next Door alum claims her children, Hank Baskett Jr., 14, and Alijah Baskett, 10, whom she coparents with her ex-husband Hank Baskett, are the "good, easiest part" of her life, even as she balances a burgeoning real estate career.
At the DirecTV Gets Real event in Los Angeles on September 26, Kendra, 39, exclusively told Will Marfuggi of E! News, "They are thriving." "I have good children. All they're doing is making my life enjoyable, thrilling, and loving."
Nevertheless, the ex-Playboy Playmate continued, "Everything else is kind of a work in progress. Being a mother is a continuous process.
Kendra claimed that she and Hank's children were not like her when she was a teenager. Kendra had previously stated that she was eighteen when she moved into then-partner Hugh Hefner's Playboy Mansion in 2004, thirteen years before he passed away at the age of ninety-one.
"Not at all," replied the former Kendra on Top Star. "Thank God, my kids are nothing like me when I was a teenager. I've given them all the advice they need to avoid being teenagers like me. I was insane from about the time I was 13 until now, at 39, when I finally started to mature."
Apart from being a mother (as evidenced by her Instagram Stories, Kendra would later support both of her children at their basketball games) and a real estate agent for the previous three years, Kendra has also pursued her career in reality TV. She starred on the HGTV series Kendra Sells Hollywood in recent years. She also plans to start new endeavors.
"I'm working on two shows," she stated. "In a few weeks, I'll make an announcement. I adore performing on TV. Thus, I won't give up doing that.
In addition, Kendra gave a preview of what viewers can anticipate seeing.
"No one has ever seen me date yet," she said, adding, "I'm really looking forward to announcing what I have in store for you guys."
