Five months after their secret wedding, "Stranger Things" star Millie Bobby Brown, 20, has finally shared glimpses of her romantic Italian wedding to Jake Bongiovi, 22. The couple took to Instagram on October 2, 2024, offering fans an intimate look at their May celebration at the historic Villa Cetinale.

Brown captioned her photo carousel "Forever and always, your wife," showcasing her custom Oscar de la Renta gown featuring a corseted bodice and delicate lace details. The actress later changed into a shorter white satin minidress for the reception, while Bongiovi alternated between an ivory tuxedo jacket and a classic black ensemble.

The path to matrimony wasn't without its adventures. During a March appearance on "The Tonight Show," Brown revealed Bongiovi's unconventional underwater proposal. "Jake saved the ring with a cinematic grab," she told Jimmy Fallon, after the jewelry nearly disappeared into the ocean depths during their scuba diving excursion.

Rock royalty was present at the ceremony, with Jon Bon Jovi, 62, confirming his attendance on BBC's The One Show: "It was a very small family wedding... the bride looked gorgeous, and Jake is happy as can be." The wedding ring held special significance, as Brown disclosed to The Sunday Times that Bongiovi proposed with one of her mother's rings, stating, "I love that I can always keep a piece of my mum with me."

The couple's relationship, which began on Instagram in June 2021, quickly evolved from friendship to romance. "After we met, we knew we never wanted to leave each other's side," Brown told The Sunday Times in August 2023. Their engagement was announced in April 2023, with Brown using Taylor Swift lyrics to share the news: "I've loved you three summers now, honey, I want 'em all."

Following their May nuptials, the newlyweds celebrated their status with a trip to Universal Studios in Orlando, with Brown sporting "wifey" denim shorts and a "wife of the party" hat. The couple's wedding photos, captured by Sandra von Riekhoff of Divine Day Photography, showcase not only their fashion choices but also the venue's stunning architecture, including the ceremony's white floral arch and the villa's iconic tree-lined paths.

Their celebration stands as a testament to their philosophy, which Brown summed up perfectly: "I think so much of life is overthinking. The one thing that made clear sense to me was him."
