After six impactful years as co host of Catfish, Kamie Crawford has announced her departure from the popular MTV series. In an emotional statement shared on Instagram, the 31-year-old expressed gratitude for the opportunity to co-host the show alongside creator Nev Schulman, calling Catfish "one of the most iconic shows in television history."

"It is with a heavy heart and much consideration that I have decided to move on to my next adventure," Kamie wrote. She thanked the Catfish audience for embracing her and making her transition easier through their overwhelming support. Reflecting on her time with the show, Kamie noted her pride in the work they've done, particularly in helping individuals find love and better understand themselves.

During her six-year tenure on Catfish, Kamie traveled across the country, assisting those who sought answers and closure regarding online relationships. She expressed deep appreciation for the love she's received from fans, saying, "The outpouring of love that I receive on a daily basis from Catfish fans around the world lets me know that I have done what I've always intended on doing, which is to leave every room a little bit brighter, warmer and safer."

Though Kamie did not reveal her next steps, she hinted that she's excited about the future. MTV responded to her departure with a heartwarming message on Instagram, thanking her and reminding her that she would always be part of the family.
