The YouTuber, DDG took to social media to announce his split from the “little mermaid” actress, Halle Bailey. This is less than a year after the two welcomed their son Halo. The pair made their relationship public on January 2022, however there have been speculations of a breakup. This is because early this year, they unfollowed each other on Instagram. Fans have been torn apart by the breakup.
One fan wrote, “Halle free from the shackles of loser DDG.” Others claimed that DDG used Halle for fame and clout and was never in love with her. “Halle Bailey deserves better, anyway I’m glad our girl can move on from him. Now I hope they can co-parent in peace. Some fans seem to have been waiting for this news, with one saying, “HALLE BAILEY IS FINALLY FREE!!!!” Some congratulating her for splitting with the YouTuber.
Halle and DDG’s baby, Halo has been going viral for the past couple of months. This has made fans to speculate that in as much as Halle may have wanted to keep their child’s life private, DDG always took to social media to post pictures and videos of him. “ I don’t care, I’m really happy for Halle Bailey. I really do feel she wanted to keep her son off the internet and keep his face hidden from online but DDJ knew the attention and views it will get him along with money.”
Another one expressed disappointment, writing, “Seeing so many black people celebrate that Halle Bailey and DDG have broken up knowing you never cared for their relationship and family in the first place just shows how miserable some of you are. Congratulations, your wish was granted, you broke a happy home.” One claimed that it was weird how many people disliked DDG for absolutely no reason and rejoicing after their split.
