After lighting up the stage, Justin Timberlake is taking a vacation. Following a month-long tour break, Justin Timberlake announced that an injury forced him to postpone his performance in Newark, New Jersey, on October 8.

He posted on Instagram, "I'm so sorry to postpone tonight's show." "I'm unable to perform because of an injury. I'm sorry I can't see you all, but I'm trying to get a new date set as soon as possible."

Thank you guys for understanding," the 43-year-old, who recently accepted a plea deal for his May DWI arrest, continued, promising followers that he would "make it up to you and give you the show y'all deserve." Thank you for your unwavering support."

Naturally, his fans showered him with love right away, with one writing in the comments, "Justin, feel better soon. Don't apologize for being human."

"Take care of yourself, King. Get well soon," another wrote, while one fan noted, "Injury is no joke. I hope you get well soon and keep performing, which is what you love to do."

The singer of "Mirrors" did not disclose the nature or extent of his injuries, and it is unclear if he will postpone his remaining tour dates. His next show is scheduled for Philadelphia on October 11.

On October 4, Justin returned to the road with his Forget Tomorrow World Tour in Montreal, Canada, following a month-long hiatus. The *NYSNC alum celebrated both his wedding anniversary and his return to the stage at the performance. He was joined by wife Jessica Biel.

He also said, "It's a very special evening for me," to the crowd. "Tonight, my spouse is present. It's also our 12-year anniversary tonight."

Justin blew her a kiss and said, "So be nice to her, Montreal, because she's sharing me with all of you guys tonight." Justin and Jessica are parents to two sons, Phineas, 4, and Silas, 9.

Putting his hand on his heart, he said, "I love you, baby."
