Irina Shayk made a dazzling return to the Victoria's Secret runway, marking her first appearance since she walked while pregnant in 2016. On October 15, the 38-year-old supermodel took the stage in a star-studded, sheer bodysuit complete with a 3-D structured train, radiating glamor under the spotlight.
The last time Shayk walked the iconic runway was in 2016, when she kept her pregnancy with daughter Lea De Seine—now seven years old—a secret. At the time, she subtly concealed her baby bump with a gray lace set and a trench coat, leaving only hints of her pregnancy. She later wore a red ensemble that also provided extra coverage. Shayk and actor Bradley Cooper, who had been dating since 2015, welcomed Lea in April 2017. Although they split in 2019, the two continue to co-parent their daughter.
Reflecting on her past runway experience, Shayk told Entertainment Tonight backstage, "The last time I walked the Victoria's Secret Show, I was about five months pregnant. So, this feels like coming full circle." She noted that her daughter, Lea, would probably watch the show eventually.
Shayk's 2024 Victoria's Secret look featured a stunning one-piece adorned with stars, accentuated by chunky silver hoop earrings and metallic stiletto sandals. Her dark hair was styled in a simple middle part, allowing her natural beauty to shine through with minimal makeup.
This fall, Shayk has been a prominent figure on other major runways. During Milan Fashion Week, she transformed into a Marilyn Monroe-inspired look, complete with a platinum blonde wig and pointed bustier for the Dolce & Gabbana spring/summer 2025 show. In Paris, she turned heads with bleached eyebrows for Schiaparelli's Haute Couture show, with front-row stars like Jennifer Lopez and Zendaya in attendance.
Despite her high-fashion transformations, Shayk's return to Victoria's Secret reminded everyone of her roots as a supermodel with timeless appeal. Her appearance brought back memories of the 2016 show and introduced a fresh, bold look for this year's event, where she continued to command the runway with her signature poise and confidence.
