The well-known chef recently acknowledged having an affair early in her marriage to Andy Stewart. She is now disclosing the essential components that have kept it contained and cool for over 30 years.
At the October 16 launch party for her 100th cookbook, Martha: The Cookbook, she said, "Very easy," but "you have to be circumspect," according to The Daily Mail.
When the trailer for her upcoming documentary, Martha, was released on October 10, it revealed Martha's affair. The former model posted a piece of advice for young women in a video.
In the trailer, 83-year-old Martha said, "Young women, listen to my advice." "If your spouse begins to cheat on you while you're married, he's a piece of s---t."
When questioned about her personal affair by a producer off-camera, Martha responded, "Yeah, but I don't think Andy ever knew about that."
From 1961 until 1987, Martha and Andy were married, and they have a daughter, Alexis Stewart, who is 59.
After her marriage, Martha was connected to tech billionaire Charles Simonyi and Anthony Hopkins, whom she intermittently dated for 15 years. She isn't married to anyone else. In the meantime, Andy married Robyn Fairclough, whom he now divorced, in 1993. Since 2016, he has been married to Shyla Nelson.
Martha has nothing against falling in love once more. However, her lack of generosity and foul breath are her two deal-breakers.
"I know a lot of eligible men," she said in 2023 when speaking to E! News. "I think they really want a woman who will take care of them, so I'm still not quite in the position where I can take care of a man full-time because I work too much."
"If I look at my life, I believe that the work has been more important than the romance," she added. Although having a boyfriend isn't my top priority, it would be nice, and I struggle to make time for both."
