Emily Osment was spared the burden of considering her brother's involvement in her wedding. In fact, the Hannah Montana alumna had the ideal position in mind for her brother Haley Joel Osment when she married Jack Anthony earlier this month. She first disclosed that she was dating Anthony in 2021.
In a preview of her October 17 daytime talk show, she exclaimed to Drew Barrymore, "It was really cute." Being able to have him help me in that way and help us both in that way was something I really enjoyed. He did it flawlessly.
The actress from Young Sheldon also hinted at other aspects of her wedding in the interview, which will officially air on November 4.
"We put a lot of effort into organizing this 'party,'" she said. Even though it was a wedding, we managed to incorporate all the things we adore about her, her friends, and her family. The best part was that it truly felt like a party.
Emily, whose spouse keeps a low profile on social media, even revealed how adorable their meeting was.
"We got together at a concert," she said. He was acting like a crazy person while dancing in the front row. I simply gestured to him and said, "Who's that?" I then proceeded to introduce myself there.
The 32-year-old acknowledged that they clicked right away and that she could tell she liked him by the way he moved.
"His dancing was amazing," she exclaimed. "And a person's dancing style can reveal a lot about them."
A little more than a year after declaring her engagement to the singer-songwriter, the Young & Hungry alumna got married.
Emily exclaimed in her June 2023 announcement post, "I never imagined life could be this sweet or that I could ever be this deliriously happy." The life we have created together and the individuals we have grown into over the past few years make me incredibly proud. I know that this love, which is so vast and exclusively ours, is capable of anything. Being able to stand beside you every day is such an honor. Jack, you have my love.
