Liam Payne is being remembered by Justin Bieber. On October 21, the singer of "Sorry" reposted a fan-made video on Instagram in remembrance of the One Direction member, who passed away on October 16 after falling from a hotel balcony in Argentina. His age was thirty-one.

Justin included a broken heart emoji next to the video of fans at a memorial paying their respects to the singer of "Night Changes."

In the touching video, a voiceover reassures viewers that it's okay to mourn for a loved one.

The voiceover, which was accompanied by clips of fans lighting candles and standing in front of pictures of Liam at the memorial, said, "Just remember you are allowed to grieve as a fan." You have never met the person you love. Admiring someone's work is acceptable, as is crying, breaking, and feeling as though a piece of yourself is missing. Because they changed your life, even if they didn't know your name.

Numerous well-known friends, Liam's family, and his former bandmates from One Direction—Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson, and Niall Horan—have paid tribute to him in the days since his passing.

In a joint Instagram statement, the band said, "We're completely devastated by the news of Liam's passing." When everyone has time, there will be more to say. We will, however, take some time to grieve and accept the loss of our cherished brother for the time being.

Additionally, the statement added, "The memories we shared with him will be treasured forever." “We are currently thinking of his family, friends, and supporters who stood by him. We will miss him terribly. Liam, you are loved.

Liam's older sister, Nicola Payne, expressed her hope that Liam found peace in a statement released on October 21 after learning of the news through the media.

The 36-year-old wrote, "I wanted so much for this to be untrue, but when I saw the news pop up on my phone that you had left us, I went cold," in a statement to Liam on Instagram. For days now, I've been hoping that someone made a mistake and that it was an error. You are an angel who came into this world only to bring joy and smiles to others; you were just too good.

In her note, Nicola concluded by promising to make sure Liam's legacy lives on for his and Cheryl Cole's 7-year-old child.

"We will make sure Bear knows about his dad and how much you love him," she concluded. "We promise this."

Liam and his girlfriend Kate Cassidy were on vacation in Argentina when he passed away. Originally scheduled to last five days, the couple's trip was extended to two weeks. On October 12, Kate returned home to Florida.

Investigators believe that "due to the position in which the body was left," the singer "did not adopt a reflexive posture to protect himself and that he could have fallen in a state of semi- or total unconsciousness," according to a press release from the Argentina National Prosecutor's Office.
