Christina Aguilera is getting into the Halloween spirit early! On Tuesday, Oct. 22, the 43-year-old singer took to Instagram to share photos of herself in a glamorous, Halloween-themed outfit. She sported an eye-catching orange cutout dress to celebrate the upcoming spooky season.
"Halloween is my favorite time of the year 🎃🍂👻," Aguilera captioned the carousel of photos.
In the first set of pictures, the "Beautiful" singer struck some sultry poses in a bold, plunging orange and black slip dress by Rui, featuring daring cutouts along the chest and midriff. She posed beneath a glowing neon orange sign indoors, exuding confidence. Aguilera styled her hair straight, complementing her outfit with a smoky brown eye look, pink blush, and a nude glossy lip. To finish off the glam look, she wore diamond drop earrings and rings by Shay Jewelry.
As the post continued, Aguilera was seen posing in different rooms of her festively decorated home. One shot captured her standing in the kitchen, with fake zombie heads displayed on the countertop behind her, adding to the eerie Halloween vibe.
In the final photo, Aguilera posed with her fiancé Matt Rutler. He was dressed in a black suit, and the couple stood in front of a large tree inside their home, which was decked out with Halloween decorations like giant spiders, fake cobwebs, skeletons, pumpkins, and orange lights.
Aguilera and Rutler share a 10-year-old daughter, Summer. The singer also has a 16-year-old son, Max, from her previous marriage to Jordan Bratman.
This Halloween post follows Aguilera's recent reflection on a fashion regret in her career. During a Rolling Stone interview published on Monday, Oct. 21, the five-time Grammy winner opened up about the toll that years of wearing high heels took on her body.
Aguilera admitted to singer-songwriter Raye, "I messed up my legs and feet badly with all the high-heel nonsense," referring to years of performing in heels. She revealed that the damage extended to her knee cartilage.
Admiring Raye's barefoot performances, Aguilera added, "I love that you perform barefoot. I never had the courage to do that. It must feel incredible to feel the floor beneath you while performing."
