Leslie Grossman is talking candidly about her upcoming project. Along with her friend and former co-star Jennie Garth, the What I Like About You alum recently revealed that she is engaged.
Leslie told Jennie on the October 22 episode of the I Choose Me With Jennie Garth podcast, "You know what's funny is I actually have not spoken about it yet, but you can say." To avoid ruining her moment, Jennie encouraged her friend to share.
Leslie exclaimed, "I am engaged." "Which is really enjoyable."
The American Horror Story actress said, "It's a crazy thing that I didn't anticipate." Not that I didn't see this person coming. I just did not expect this next stage of my life.
Leslie revealed a little more about her engagement after Jennie said she was "happy" for her, but she didn't reveal any other information.
Very kind; many thanks. I'm also pleased for myself," Leslie continued. He is an amazing individual. And it's hilarious that I'm discussing it in public for the first time, Jennie."
Before he filed for divorce in 2020, Leslie was married to Jon Bronson for 20 years. Goldie Bronson, age 17, is the child of the couple.
Leslie also talked briefly about her divorce, telling Jennie that it occurred when she was "48-49ish" and that it motivated her to start over before turning 50.
"My nearly 21-year marriage came to an end. She clarified that it was also the first month of the pandemic shutdown. That was timed as poorly as it could have been. Then, not long after, [my] sister-in-law passed away. This was the wife of my brother who passed away. She was my sister. When all of this occurs, you have a choice, you know. I made the brave decision. It felt like a really difficult reset for me.
Leslie added, "It is a very lucky and wonderful next chapter. But, I mean, look. My whole life got reorganized around my 50th birthday, and everything got thrown up into the air, and it sort of fell to the ground. And I was very intentional about deciding what I was going to pick up and what doesn't come with me anymore."
