Two hours prior to numerous media outlets revealing that Channing Tatum and Zoë Kravitz had canceled their engagement, the Magic Mike star revealed his most recent movie project, which also features his ex.
The actor reposted Dave Bautista's post about their upcoming comedy Alpha Gang on Instagram Stories on October 29. According to the Deadline article that Channing reshared, the movie "focuses on a group of alien invaders sent to conquer Earth" and will star Channing and Zoë alongside Cate Blanchett, Steven Yeun, Riley Keough, and Léa Seydoux.
Prior to collaborating on Zoë's directorial debut, Blink Twice, which was released in August, Channing, 44, and Zoë, 35, were first introduced by their mutual friend Riley. When they were seen riding around New York City on his motorcycle in 2021 while filming the thriller, the two ignited dating rumors. The two became engaged in October 2023, and Zoë showed off her engagement ring at a Kendall Jenner-hosted Halloween party.
The Big Little Lies star often complimented her partner on his tolerant attitude during their relationship.
In August 2022, Zoë told WSJ Magazine, "Even before I knew him, I sensed that he was a feminist and that he wasn't scared to explore that darkness, because he knows he's not that." "For that reason, I was drawn to him and wanted to meet with him. And I was right.”
In a similar vein, the 21 Jump Street star, who only a month ago finalized his divorce from ex-wife Jenna Dewan, developed a close relationship with the High Fidelity actress that continued into his career.
In August, Channing told E! News, "I respect her point of view, her brain, her tastes, and pretty much everything. I don't really make any creative decisions or very many decisions without getting her point of view now." Thus, we now depend on one another.
