Brandon Yankowitz, a lawyer and film producer, is engaged to the Rich Kids of Beverly Hills star. On October 29, Dorothy, 36, shared the good news on Instagram in a collaborative post. This was the first time she had shared anything about Brandon on social media.
The Bling Empire star merely wrote "engaged" and two white hearts beneath a picture of herself kissing and hugging Brandon in front of a large fireplace with white flowers.
Ezra J. William, star of Rich Kids of Instagram, wrote, "So excited and happy for you, Auntie." Morgan Stewart, Dorothy's former co-star from Rich Kids, also posted "Congrats!!!!!!!!" with a bunch of hearts in the comments section shortly after Dorothy shared her touching post.
Crystal Kung Minkoff of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills said she had "been waiting for this" announcement, while Nicky Hilton Rothschild said, "So happy for you."
Dorothy wrote on her Instagram Stories that Brandon proposed on October 17 and that it was "the most beautiful surprise of my life." She also included a video from that evening with The Righteous Brothers' "Unchained Melody" playing in the background.
A follower wrote that they "loved meeting" Dorothy "in Venice last week," to which the reality star replied that the engagement had "happened the night before," suggesting that Brandon proposed in the city of Italy.
"Sometimes the universe takes you on a journey you didn't know you needed, to bring you everything you ever wanted," Dorothy wrote on her Stories before her engagement announcement was made public. Have faith in the plan.
She revealed more details about her relationship, which she had kept secret for two years, in another Instagram post.
"Brandon and I met exactly two years ago today," she wrote on October 29, "and it's been the happiest time of my life ever after."
Dorothy, who relocated to New York City from her hometown of Los Angeles in 2022, included a few pictures of herself and her new fiancé taken during their two-year romance. She shared memories of meals and parties with her family, the New York City Ballet, Disneyland and Paris, and more.
When Tinx commented that "you truly glow these past few years," Dorothy gave "the NY SHIFT!!!" credit.
According to IMDb, Brandon is a licensed lawyer and former model who cofounded the production company YaSu Media. Additionally, he is recognized for producing the 2011 movie Trophy Kids.
