Vanessa Hudgens knows how to appreciate the little things in life, and she recently shared some joyful moments with her fans. A few months after it was reported that the 35-year-old actress welcomed her first child with husband Cole Tucker, 28, she posted a series of casual and fun selfies on Instagram.
"Miss rarely takes pics anymore," wrote Hudgens in the caption of her Nov. 4 post, hinting at her new role as a mother. The series begins with a photo of the High School Musical alum wearing a jersey honoring the iconic hip-hop group A Tribe Called Quest, where she's seen flashing a peace sign with her right hand. In the second image, Hudgens is wearing a black tee and a cozy, brown furry bucket hat, puckering her lips for a playful close-up shot. The next image in the series shows her standing in front of a mirror, dressed in an oversized sweatshirt and posed next to a glass of wine and a candle—capturing a quiet, reflective moment. In the last image, Hudgens is seen in a black hoodie with her hair in two high pigtails, exuding a casual, carefree vibe.
Her husband, Cole Tucker, whom she married in December 2023, responded to her post with a sweet comment, sharing three heart emojis, to show his love and support. While Hudgens and Tucker haven't revealed their baby's birth date, name, or gender, Hudgens had previously confirmed the child's arrival in July. Addressing the media's breach of their privacy, she shared an Instagram Story expressing her disappointment, stating, "We're disappointed that our family's privacy was disrespected and exploited during this very special time due to the greed of a long lens camera feeding the media. Despite all of that, mom, dad, and baby are happy and healthy."
Hudgens initially revealed her pregnancy in March on the red carpet at the 2024 Oscars, where she wore a long, black, floor-length dress that beautifully highlighted her baby bump.
Earlier, Hudgens gave a glimpse into her hopes for parenting while speaking to E! News in May. Reflecting on her career choices, she said, "I'll show my kids all my work. That's why I chose things along the way—I wanted to ensure that when I did have kids, there would be something for them to watch at every age." Hudgens' thoughtful career approach reflects her desire to share her work with her child and build lasting memories together.
