The Kansas City Chiefs continued their flawless season, moving to an 8-0 record after a nail-biting overtime victory—complete with Taylor Swift's enthusiastic support from the stands!
On Monday, Nov. 4, Travis Kelce, Patrick Mahomes, and the Chiefs defeated the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 24-17 at Arrowhead Stadium. Swift, 34, cheered on Kelce, her boyfriend, while dressed in a vintage-style Chiefs leather jacket and knee-high Christian Louboutin boots. Kelce delivered an impressive performance, catching 14 passes for 100 yards, despite a first-half fumble that briefly shifted the game's momentum.
In a tense moment early in the fourth quarter, Mahomes, 29, took a hard hit and appeared to injure his previously injured ankle while sprinting toward the end zone. Fortunately, he returned to the field shortly after, ready to lead his team.
The game stretched into overtime, and Arrowhead Stadium fell silent with anticipation. Kelce made several critical catches from Mahomes, and it was ultimately running back Kareem Hunt who clinched the victory with a final touchdown.
Swift wasn't the only family member in the stands. She cheered alongside her mom, Andrea Swift, brother Austin, and Kelce's mom, Donna Kelce, who sported Kansas City merchandise with a jacket labeled "In My Chiefs Era." Jason Kelce, Travis's brother, also attended, providing commentary for ESPN's Monday Night Football.
Just days before, Kelce had traveled to Indianapolis to support Swift on the second night of her Eras Tour at Lucas Oil Stadium. His strong performance against the Buccaneers followed a standout game in Week 8, where he scored his first touchdown of the season in the Chiefs' win over the Las Vegas Raiders. The touchdown marked a turning point after what Kelce described as a slow start to his 12th NFL season. Celebrating the score, he posted rare photos on Instagram with the caption, "Vegas baby!! Vegas!!"
Looking ahead, the Chiefs are set to host the Denver Broncos at Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday, Nov. 10, aiming to extend their winning streak as Swift and Kelce continue to support each other on and off the field.
