In a revealing new episode of her "Misspelling" podcast, actress Tori Spelling recounted the first time she and her former "Beverly Hills, 90210" co-star Brian Austin Green slept together. The two '90s heartthrobs, who played on-screen couple Donna Martin and David Silver, opened up about their complicated past romance, with Green admitting he doesn't even remember the specific incident Spelling described.
According to Spelling, 51, the fateful hookup occurred at the Disneyland Hotel, where the co-stars had been "fighting so much" that Spelling questioned in line for the Matterhorn ride why they "always" argued. "You said, 'Have you ever thought maybe I always fight with you because I love you?' Then we started kissing. Then you were like, 'Do you want to get out of here?' And I was like, 'Yeah,'" Spelling recalled.
The 51-year-old actress agreed the moment was "kind of epic" and "out of a John Hughes movie," complete with a dramatic phone call Spelling placed to their co-star Jennie Garth the next morning. However, Green, also 51, had a different recollection - or lack thereof. "Were we super drunk?" he asked, to which Spelling confirmed they were "super drunk" at the time, noting "that was kind of the theme for then."
"I remember a lot other times [hooking up], but I do not remember that time at all," Green admitted, struggling to label their relationship as "much more than dating" but not quite "brother and sister." Spelling quickly quipped, "You don't f--k your family."
The former co-stars, who reprised their roles in the 2019 "BH90210" revival, had a complicated history, revealing in August 2023 that they didn't speak for 18 years and felt like they were "going through a divorce." Spelling, a mother of five, split from her husband Dean McDermott in 2023, while Green has been engaged to Sharna Burgess since 2022 and shares three children with ex-wife Megan Fox.
Despite the passage of time, it's clear the bond between Spelling and Green remains strong, with the actress describing their initial hookup as "kind of epic." While Green may have forgotten the specifics, the memory seems to have left a lasting impression on Spelling - and perhaps a few others who were privy to the details. As the two '90s icons continue to navigate their personal lives, fans can't help but wonder what other juicy stories may be uncovered from their shared history.
