The former Real Housewives of Atlanta star fueled speculation that her relationship with her Surreal Life co-star may have taken a romantic turn when she posted a number of images and videos from a recent Jelly Roll concert with Chet Hanks.
In an Instagram post on November 13, Kim described the performance as "one of my absolute favorite concerts, and everyone that was/is part of this massive operation is beyond kind." "The joy and happiness that surrounded us all that night are beyond words."
Although she later acknowledged that she was ignorant of the Shameless star's well-known family, Kim, 46, and Chet, 34—whose parents are Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson—met while filming the MTV reality show in Colombia.
"To be honest, when I first met him, I didn't know who he was," Kim admitted to E! News in July. "Brieelle [Biermann], my daughter, had to be called and asked."
But when asked if she and Chet might be more than just friends, the "Tardy for the Party" singer said nothing.
She continued by saying, "I think Chet is fantastic." "He's just a great guy, and you'll see that we had some really deep conversations."
Kim was previously married to former NFL linebacker Kroy Biermann, with whom she had a daughter named Brielle, children Ariana, 23, KJ, 13, Kash, 12, and twins Kaia and Kane, 10, before the rumored romance. In May 2023, the couple filed for divorce, and two months later, Kim requested that the case be dismissed by the judge. However, Kroy later filed for divorce again in August of the same year.
In a confessional on The Surreal Life, Kim opened up about the traumatic breakup amid her marital ups and downs.
She sobbed as she remarked, "I protect everyone else, but I don't feel like anyone, not even my husband or parents, is really protecting me."
"The fact that I can let go here and feel safe here, not even at home," she subsequently said to her co-stars. You must remain strong because I have been a mother since I was eighteen.
