Liam Payne's funeral is set to take place tomorrow, marking a final farewell to the beloved One Direction star. The 31-year-old singer tragically passed away last month after falling from the balcony of his hotel room in Buenos Aires, Argentina. His body was repatriated to the UK after extensive investigations into the circumstances surrounding his death, and his father Geoff accompanied the remains back to Britain.

The private service will be held in the Home Counties, where close family and friends will gather to pay their respects. Among the attendees will be Payne's former One Direction bandmates—Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson, and Zayn Malik. Also expected to attend are his girlfriend Kate Cassidy and music mogul Simon Cowell. The wake will follow the service.

Payne's father, Geoff, had traveled to Argentina to visit the hotel where his son had passed away, moved by the tributes left by fans. A source revealed that Geoff has been deeply affected by the outpouring of love from around the world: "Geoff is living every parent's worst nightmare. He has been so moved by the outpouring of love and the tributes that have come in from across the world."

Liam had traveled to Argentina to renew his U.S. visa and attend Niall Horan's concert. His death, which occurred on October 16, has led to charges against three individuals in connection with the incident, including allegations of abandonment and drug supply.

In a statement after his death, Liam's family expressed their heartbreak: "We are heartbroken. Liam will forever live in our hearts and we'll remember him for his kind, funny and brave soul." His bandmates shared similar sentiments, with the group releasing a joint statement expressing their devastation: "We will miss him terribly. We love you Liam."
