Police in Georgia discovered the body of Jiare Schneider, a prospective TikTok user who vanished on November 15, in the woods close to his family's house.
The Clayton County Police Department confirmed to several outlets that Jiare Schneider, an aspiring TikToker who vanished on November 15, was discovered dead in the woods close to his Georgia residence on November 26. His age was thirty-one.
According to Germequa Bell, a family friend, Schneider's body was found when his loved ones searched the wooded area because construction had not yet been completed.
On November 26, she told FOX 5 Atlanta, "We went to the woods, and there he was." When he vanished, we knew something was wrong.
When the group found Schneider's body, they called the police. Schneider's body was found inside a Toyota 4Runner that family members claimed he had borrowed from a friend at around 1 p.m., authorities told FOX 5.
Authorities were later informed by Schneider's family that he had intended to use the vehicle for a night out at Rumors Night Club on November 15 prior to his disappearance. According to Bell, Schnieder's family members think he went to a local "content house"—a term used to characterize a place where social media creators live or work—about 25 minutes from the scene of his death.
She told FOX 5 that "we were looking more toward that content house he was last seen at." "This way was blocked off, so we never got to come."
The car was discovered "deep" in the woods, meaning that "there was a fast speed approaching the intersection," according to Clayton County Police Department spokesperson Lt. Ricky Porter, who spoke to the outlet.
Schneider's death is still being investigated, according to the police.
