Selena Gomez is looking forward to the holiday season with her loved ones, including her boyfriend, Benny Blanco. In exclusive interviews with E! News and Extra, the singer and actress gave a glimpse into their festive plans.

Speaking at The Hollywood Reporter's Women in Entertainment Gala, where she received the Equity in Entertainment Award, Selena revealed that she plans to "veg out, eat, do nothing" with Benny and her family. While she is excited to relax, one thing she won't be doing is cooking. "I will not be cooking anything," Selena admitted, adding with a laugh, "I've deceived people into thinking I could cook. I can cook certain things well, not everything." She praised Benny's culinary skills, calling him "a very good cook."

Though Selena once hosted a cooking show, Selena + Chef, she prefers to let Benny take the lead in the kitchen. "It's intimidating cooking with him," she confessed. "I let him do all that." Benny, known for his passion for food, has shared his favorite meals to prepare for Selena, including steak, potatoes, and Caesar salad. He even went the extra mile by delivering a surprise meal with a heartfelt note: "I love you! Sleep well!"

The couple, who began dating in July 2023, have been open about their affection for each other. Selena recently described her relationship with Benny as the "safest" she's ever felt. "I see a future with this one," she told The Hollywood Reporter. Meanwhile, Benny called Selena his "true best friend," telling People, "Every day is the best day of my life with her."

In addition to holiday plans, Selena also shared her excitement about spending quality time with her 12-year-old sister, Gracie, whom she called her "best friend." She also reflected on her career milestones, including her role in the upcoming movie Emilia Pérez, which she described as "a dream job."

Receiving the Equity in Entertainment Award, Selena emphasized the importance of representation. "I remember growing up and not seeing a lot of faces like mine," she said. "I'm proud to be a Gomez and proud to be who I am."
