Regarding her husband Brett Randle's recent health issues, Madison LeCroy is being open. During the Dec. 12 episode of the Bravo series, the Southern Charm star shared Brett's fight with thyroid cancer with fans in an emotional manner.
"Unfortunately, Brett was diagnosed with thyroid cancer toward the end of last year around our one-year wedding anniversary," the 34-year-old revealed in a confessional. "I asked myself, 'Like, how? At last, I'm content. It's simply frightening.
Brett claimed to feel "pretty good" following surgery, but he acknowledged that additional care is still required because he still has trouble swallowing.
"I have to go see a specialist for it," he informed his wife. "There are two stages to it. For that, I need to see an ENT, and I'll probably need to do some kind of therapy or something."
According to Brett, swallowing is "like a marble that's stuck there."
The firefighter smiled and continued, "It's okay; I'm getting used to it."
Madison said empathetically, "We'll get you fixed."
Madison has been reeling from the experience, but Brett is still optimistic.
In a confessional, she wrote, "I'm grateful that Brett was able to get in and they removed a three-centimeter nodule."" The cancer has disappeared, but he is currently experiencing issues. We can't seem to get a f--king break, in my opinion.
How did Madison's 11-year-old son Hudson, whom she shares with her ex-husband John Hughes, respond to his stepfather's medical conditions?
In a confessional, Madison said, "I told Hudson that Brett was sick, but I didn't go into detail about what cancer can do to someone." "And I try not to let Hudson see me emotional because I have to be strong for my family."
Madison still has bad days, even though Brett's health is improving.
She acknowledged, "Some days I just want to, like, scream." "I can be triggered by anything, like someone asking, 'When are you having a child?'" We were just beginning to plan, after all. However, that is currently on hold.
