Brad Pitt, 61, and Ines de Ramon, 32, recently enjoyed a private holiday in Carmel, California, following the finalization of Pitt's long-standing divorce from Angelina Jolie. The intimate coastal retreat marks a new chapter for the actor, who spent eight years entangled in a highly publicized legal battle with Jolie.

Sources close to the couple revealed that the charming town on the Monterey Peninsula offered a serene escape. "He loves it up there," an insider told People. "It's very private for them." This newfound privacy underscores the pair's intent to move forward as they consider future plans, including starting a family.

Pitt and Jolie's tumultuous separation, which began in 2016, was fraught with emotional and legal challenges. Their divorce proceedings included custody battles over their six children and disputes over assets like the $62 million Château Miraval winery in France. Jolie's lawyer, James Simon, expressed her exhaustion over the drawn-out process, stating, "Angelina is relieved this one part is over."

However, Pitt's decision to finalize the divorce wasn't solely about legal closure. Reports suggest Ines, a jewelry designer previously married to actor Paul Wesley, played a pivotal role. According to a source quoted by Page Six, "Ines influenced him to settle. She wants a life together, possibly with children, without the albatross of the past."

This sense of renewal extends beyond personal relationships. Pitt, who recently wrapped filming for his Formula 1 action movie, appears to be embracing new beginnings on multiple fronts. Friends close to him, including George Clooney, have reportedly supported his relationship with Ines. "Everyone has signed off on him doing it," a Hollywood insider told DailyMail.com.

Despite this progress, lingering disputes remain. The Miraval winery continues to be a point of contention between Pitt and Jolie. Both parties have indicated willingness to pursue a jury trial if mediation fails. Nevertheless, the resolution of their divorce signals a significant step forward.

For Brad Pitt, the closure offers an opportunity to focus on building bridges with his children. While relationships with some of his six children remain strained, he is hopeful about reconnecting with them. As for his future with Ines, sources suggest marriage is on the horizon, with a possible engagement in 2025.
