Ariana Grande, the celebrated pop star and actress, has once again opened up about her evolving relationship with beauty and self-perception. At the Palm Springs International Film Festival, where she accepted the Rising Star Award, the "Wicked" actress humorously credited "Botox and Juvederm" for her youthful appearance. However, she quickly clarified in a follow-up interview with Entertainment Tonight that she has been "clean" from cosmetic injectables for four years.

Grande, 31, explained that while she values transparency as the founder of R.E.M. Beauty, she currently embraces her natural features. "When I start going again, I'll let you know," she remarked lightheartedly.

The Grammy winner, who has been in the public eye since her teenage years, acknowledged the immense pressures of Hollywood's beauty standards but expressed a desire to age gracefully. "I hope my smile lines get deeper and deeper. I laugh more and more. Aging can be such a beautiful thing," she shared in a 2023 Vogue interview.

Her sentiments resonated deeply during her recent acceptance speech, where she described herself as a "slightly withering, drooping star." The candid remark highlighted her journey of self-acceptance, particularly in an industry often critiqued for unrealistic expectations. As she walked the red carpet in an archival 1996 Givenchy gown at the 2025 Golden Globes, Grande demonstrated her appreciation for timeless elegance over fleeting trends.

Criticism surrounding her appearance has not been new. In a December 2024 interview with French content creator Crazy Sally, Grande grew emotional discussing the scrutiny she has faced since her teenage years.

"I've heard every version of it," she admitted. Despite this, she credits her support system and inner resilience for helping her navigate the noise. "I have a life to live, friends to love, and work to do. I don't leave space for negativity anymore," she asserted.

Dermatologist Dr. Ava Shamban noted in a recent report that more stars are dissolving fillers and embracing natural aesthetics. "It's about redefining beauty," she explained, emphasizing authenticity over perfection.
