Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are on their way. According to records acquired by E! News on January 6, the Hustlers star and the two-time Oscar winner struck a divorce settlement less than five months after the Hustlers actor filed for divorce.
The statement claims that J. Lo and Ben both unquestionably accepted the conditions of Jennifer's original filing, which suggested that they each take home any money they made during their two years of marriage. The couple will also stop supporting one another as spouses in the future, and Jennifer will revert to her previous last name, which she had changed to Affleck after their 2022 wedding.
On August 20, precisely two years after she and the Oscar winner were married in a Las Vegas ceremony, Jennifer filed for divorce from Ben in L.A. County Superior Court, stating that they had separated on April 26. Although the couple had already split up in private before formally ending their marriage, in the months before the filing, there was a lot of public conjecture about their relationship because of Jennifer's solo appearance at the 2024 Met Gala and her liking of an Instagram post about relationship warning signs.
A March Instagram photo with the message, "You can’t build a relationship with someone who is disconnected from themselves," was shared. "When we are unable to see ourselves, we cannot expect anyone to see us. Getting in a relationship is the easy part. Nurturing & fostering it is a different story. After all, love is not a feeling; it’s action."
Jennifer Garner, the former wife of Jennifer Garner, has been expressing her desire to be complete and independent since her divorce. She has been open about her journey and the challenges she faced in the past 25-30 years, stating that she is not looking for new relationships. Jennifer canceled her tour last year to focus on herself and her family and has since reunited with her ex-husband, Ben Affleck, for family outings.
In September, she met with Affleck's youngest children and J.Lo's twins, Max and Emme, who she shares with ex-husband Marc Anthony. The former couple reunited again for a holiday meal in Los Angeles' Soho House three days before Christmas. Jennifer believes that canceling her tour and parting ways with Ben has given her a chance to grow as an individual, as she was devastated to let anyone down but was grateful for the opportunity to work on herself.
