Actor Josh Radnor, known for playing the character of Ted Mosby in the sitcom “How I Met Your Mother,” celebrated his first wedding anniversary with wife Jordana Jacobs. The couple, who married on January 6, 2024, at Cedar Lakes Estate in Hudson Valley, New York, experienced unexpected weather that turned their ceremony into a never-to-forget “blizzard wedding.”
Radnor, 50, took to Instagram to post some reflections, grateful for the surprise snowstorm that began earlier than forecast, blanketing their outdoor ceremony with winter scene beauty. He commended their guests for braving the cold and also praised quick changes by their wedding team.
Radnor wrote in his touching post, “I honestly didn’t know if marriage was for me but it turned out it was. Asking Jordana to marry me was the best decision I ever made. I love doing life alongside this kind, wise, hilarious, lovely woman.”
The love story began for the couple in February 2022 at a meditation retreat; Radnor felt an instant connection and later described it as a moment of clarity. In November 2023, the engagement was made public during one of Radnor’s concerts as he shared the news with his audience.
It does connect with Radnor, who acted the role of Ted Mosby, who is always in search of true love. During “How I Met Your Mother,” Ted’s quest for a life partner and his eternal optimism somewhat mirrored Radnor’s life, since he later married Jacobs.
