Three months after his death, Joshua Blackledge's cause of death has been made public. According to documents that Us Weekly was able to obtain, the 16-year-old influencer committed suicide on March 18. According to the documents, a family member found him at his Newport, North Carolina, home, along with a teddy bear, a paper note, and a picture.

Although no drug paraphernalia was discovered at the scene of Joshua's death, according to the documents, his family disclosed that Joshua had "exhibited behavioral changes" during the previous 12 months.

Four days before he passed away, the teenager, who had more than a million TikTok followers, uploaded a video of himself driving a white pickup truck. He was well-known for his videos that showed glimpses of his high school life, frequently featuring cars, friends, or him lip-syncing to tunes.

His obituary, which Noe-Brooks Funeral Home shared soon after his passing, provided additional details about his life as a high school junior who played track and wrestling.

“He had a passion for the outdoors and loved being around water, whether fishing or boating with friends. He also had a love for cars and trucks," the obituary read. "At home, Joshua liked helping his mom with cooking, gardening, and yard work. He had an energetic spirit and was known for his entertaining nature, often impressing others with backflips."

"Joshua will be remembered by those who knew him for his enthusiasm and love for life," the obituary continued. "May his memory bring comfort to all who mourn his passing."
