The eldest children of Travis Barker have left their house safely. Landon Barker, 21, and Alabama Barker, 19, the children of the Blink-182 drummer, announced that they had to leave their house due to the rapidly spreading wildfire that started destroying the Pacific Palisades neighborhood of California on January 7.

On January 7, Landon posted a selfie and the caption, "Just evacuated, praying for everyone the fires have affected," on his Instagram Story to provide his followers with an update.

"Just evacuated from my home due to the wildfires in Los Angeles; please be safe!!" Alabama also posted the news to her Instagram Story on January 7. They claim that in a matter of seconds, the fires are spreading the size of a football field.

The brushfire in the Pacific Palisades began in the morning of Jan. 7 and rapidly expanded into neighborhoods throughout the community due to hurricane-force winds. Over the course of the day, and into the morning on Jan. 8, the fire has burned over 2,921 acres and forced over 30,000 residents to evacuate their homes.

Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag, who have been longtime residents of the community, confirmed that their home burned down amid the fire. "I'm watching our house burn down on the security cameras," Spencer shared in a Snapchat video on Jan. 7, before sharing footage of their deck and children's room on fire.

Later, Stephanie Pratt, his sister, attested to the devastation. She posted, "I am beyond heartbroken for my brother, Heidi & the kids," on her Instagram Story on January 7. "And to all of our friends and neighbors who have lost their houses today." "Just spoke to my dad—he tried to save my brother's house, but the wind is so strong there was nothing he could do," Stephanie said. "My parents evacuated safely and are watching the fire rage towards their house on security cameras."

The cancellation of the live, in-person Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards nominations announcement is another example of how the fires have affected awards season.
