Regarding the status of their relationship, Jessica Alba and Cash Warren are being forthright. After 16 years of marriage, the 40-year-old Dark Angel alum and the 45-year-old film producer have split up, according to TMZ, which cited people with firsthand knowledge of the situation.
Their split was announced a few days after the Honey actress, who has three children with Cash: Honor, 16, Haven, 13, and Hayes, 7, posted a photo of family time at Universal Studios Hollywood.
Their most recent family outing coincided with fans' conjectures about a divorce, which were stoked by recent images of the actress without a wedding band and an Instagram post she made on New Year's Eve that featured family photos without Cash.
The ex-couple got married in Los Angeles four years after meeting in Vancouver, British Columbia, while working on the 2004 movie Fantastic Four.
Cash and Jessica have been candid about what it took to keep their relationship going for decades.
During a joint sit-down with Jessica in a 2021 Works for Us podcast episode, Cash stated, "We can talk about anything." "With just that best friend friendship, we can sit down, make each other laugh, and annoy each other."
The Hill Street Blues actor Michael Warren's son, Cash, added that he and Jessica support one another's development.
"The moment one becomes stagnant and the other one's really pushing for growth, it's challenging," he stated. "Alternatively, it can be very difficult to grow apart, so it's like figuring out how to help each other along our individual journeys and in our own development. She is supporting me on my journey, but that doesn't mean our paths must cross or that we must be doing the same thing. It's simply helping one another grow as individuals."
Jessica Simpson and Justin Bieber have a "ride or die" partnership, with both committing to being in it. However, they have faced past turmoil, leading to a breakup. Cash, who was jealous of Jessica's attention, reacted negatively to it, leading to their breakup four years into their relationship. Now, Cash focuses on being Jessica's "biggest cheerleader" and is not interested in the spotlight. He has become more comfortable with his role as a teammate and a supporter, allowing Jessica to do her thing.
