Cameron Diaz has resumed his activities. The actress, who came out of retirement in 2022 to film Back in Action, made her Hollywood comeback by making her red carpet debut.

Cameron looked timeless in all black for the action-comedy's January 15 Berlin premiere, wearing a sheer shirt, high-waisted pants, and penny loafers. She accessorized the monochromatic ensemble with a red lip, gold jewelry by Jennifer Fisher, and a long wool coat.

Her costar Jamie Foxx joined the 52-year-old, who said he inspired her to return to acting.

"I couldn't say no to Jamie," Cameron, who also collaborated with the Oscar winner on Annie (2014) and Any Given Sunday (1999), told Fortune last year. "Come with me, he said. "All right, let's do it." It's our third movie together.

Filming Back in Action was a full-circle occasion for the Charlie's Angels star.

During an interview on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon in 2022, she stated, "The first movie back is this film with Jamie. The last movie I made was Annie with Jamie."

Regarding her regular partner, Cameron continued, "He's so great, he's so easy, he's so professional, he's so talented."

What was the reason behind her initial departure from Hollywood?

"Making movies is a particular skill set that is fun to exercise and be a part of," Cameron said in 2022 with CBS News. However, it is a distinct way of living. Additionally, you sort of need to be prepared to do that.

Cameron believed it was time to concentrate on other areas of her life, such as starting a family with her husband of five years, Benji Madden, after making more than 40 films since her acting debut in the 1990s.

Cameron, who welcomed a girl named Raddix in 2019 and a son named Cardinal in 2024, stated, "When you're doing something that you know and you've done well and you know how it works—and it's filled your whole life for so long, it's sort of a great thing to kind of like, 'You know what? Let me take a moment to reflect on my life: What does the big picture look like, and what are the things I could do better and be more involved in to feel more whole?"
