In fact, the Step Up actress revealed what she had learned from her often tumultuous divorce battle four months after she and Channing Tatum, parents to their 11-year-old daughter Everly, finally ended their six-year legal battle.

In a Jan. 22 column for InStyle, Jenna stated, "I learned a lot about myself, my resilience, and my voice in 2024 especially." "I discovered how to sit with discomfort and let go of being too accommodating in my relationships. The true meaning of trust

Jenna, who also has a 4-year-old boy named Callum and a 7-month-old daughter named Rhiannon with her fiancé Steve Kazee, acknowledged that she gained a lot of knowledge from her most recent struggles.

As she put it, "I can honestly say that I approach every challenge by asking myself, 'Why is this here, and what is it here to teach me?'" It's acceptable when things shatter since you no longer fit in that vessel.

Additionally, Jenna, who divorced Channing in 2018 after nine years of marriage, has already started a new chapter in her life.

"I've realized that fresh starts don't wait for calendars or big proclamations," she said. "They occur in the silent decisions: putting your faith in the process even when it seems hopeless, forgiving yourself, and showing up again."

"I am so grateful for my family, the love and presence of my partner, Steve, and the adventures we will have this year," Jenna exclaimed, indicating that she has more joyous things ahead of her. I anticipate some travel, lots of family fun, and—above all—perhaps a wedding at last!

In the meantime, Channing is making a number of new beginnings for himself. Following nearly four years of dating, the Magic Mike star called off his engagement to Zoe Kravitz in October as his and Jenna's divorce processes were concluded.

The duo has stated that Everly is their top priority, even though Channing and Jenna are juggling changes for themselves.

In June, Jenna stressed to People that "children always come first." Your feelings about your kids. How you treat your kids. Kids always come first above everything else.”
