Reflecting on her marriage in a confessional, Khloé described Lamar, 45, as "the love of my life." She recalled how they married just 30 days after meeting in 2009 and how deeply she had loved him. "I took my vows very seriously," she shared. "I was married for about seven years, but there were things in that marriage that were just not fixable."
Khloé admitted that despite the struggles, their relationship held some of the most "special and magical" moments of her life. However, she was now ready to move forward. "I haven't spoken to Lamar in nine years, and I think it's time to shed as much as I can," she said.
Their last interaction was in 2016, following Lamar's near-fatal overdose in 2015. Khloé had cared for him through his recovery but eventually cut ties after noticing him slipping back into old habits. "I had to break contact. I just couldn't stand for the same behaviors repeating," she explained. Recalling the moment she decided to walk away, she said, "I told him, 'I'm done. You need to be out by Monday.' And I haven't seen Lamar since that day."
Now, nearly a decade later, her main reason for the reunion was to return some of Lamar's belongings. "I don't have bad blood. I don't have any blood. There are no feelings," she said. "I just want him to have his stuff, and that's it."
When Lamar arrived, he appeared visibly nervous, sweating and uncomfortable. Khloé, however, felt detached. "I don't have a lot of emotion. I've worked through so much trauma in this relationship," she admitted. "Unloving someone is like mourning a death."
Despite the familiarity, Khloé realized she no longer knew the man she once loved. "It's both familiar and uncharted. It's a mind f---," she concluded, closing the door on a defining chapter of her past.
