On Millie Bobby Brown's special day, her husband showed off his love for her. Jake Bongiovi celebrated the Stranger Things actress's 21st birthday on February 19 by taking a cute selfie in front of the mirror with his wife of almost a year. In the photo, Millie poses in a bikini, teasing her hair as Jake stands beside her and holds up the phone.
Jake, 22, celebrated by writing, "Happy 21st, baby," as the caption for the February 19 Instagram photo. I adore you very much.
Days before Jake's post, Millie had gushed about their love on Valentine's Day.
On Feb. 14, the actress posted a previously unseen photo from their wedding along with the caption, "Happy Valentine's Day to the most handsome husband that's ever lived." I cherish you more than anything else.
One year after Jon Bongiovi's son proposed, Millie and Jake exchanged vows in two different ceremonies in 2024. Even though the couple has chosen to keep the more personal aspects of their wedding day under wraps, Millie hasn't held back when discussing the lessons she's learned about love since becoming a wife.
In an interview with Vanity Fair that was released on February 12, the Enola Holmes actress stated that "loving someone and being in love are two different things." I believe that I loved many of the people I was with, just as much as I loved my friends. However, he was the first man I ever fell in love with.
"What's the point if we're not fully invested?" she said. We always have been, and we must be.
Prior to walking down the aisle, Millie needed to make sure she had the difficult talks with Jake.
"We discussed our political beliefs, the type of family we want to start, the type of house we want to live in, the type of relationship we're seeking, and the type of careers we want," she disclosed.
"We wanted to make sure we were making the right decision because it's so important," Millie went on. I was aware of it. With him, it always felt natural.
