Former entertainment figure Michael Lohan, 64, faces serious legal troubles following his arrest in Spring, Texas, on charges of domestic violence against his estranged wife, Kate Major. The Harris County Sheriff's Office confirmed that Lohan was taken into custody on Friday, February 21, 2025, after Major reported a disturbing incident at their residence.

According to law enforcement officials, the situation unfolded when Major, 42, spotted Lohan in the parking lot of a medical facility where she had an appointment. Concerned for her safety, she immediately contacted 911, reporting that she believed Lohan was following her. During the subsequent investigation, Major revealed to deputies that days earlier, Lohan had allegedly assaulted her by "flipping her out of a chair" at their home.

A female deputy documented visible bruising on Major's body, providing physical evidence to support the allegations. The Harris County Sheriff's Office spokesperson confirmed that Lohan was arrested without incident at his residence and is currently being held on a $30,000 bond for Continuous Family Violence charges.

This incident marks the latest chapter in a troubled relationship history between Lohan and Major, who married in 2014 after a four-year engagement. Their union has been marked by legal incidents and separations, with Major filing for divorce in 2018 and seeking sole custody of their two sons, Landon and Logan.

The couple's volatile past includes a similar incident in 2020, when Lohan was arrested in Southampton, New York, for allegedly becoming "verbally and physically abusive" toward Major.

Their relationship has been further complicated by mutual accusations and legal interventions, including a previous incident where Major was arrested for allegedly throwing a candle at Lohan, though prosecutors ultimately declined to file charges due to insufficient evidence.
