Millie Bobby Brown has made it clear that she is unfazed by online comments about her new appearance. The 21-year-old Stranger Things actress recently debuted platinum blonde hair, which has sparked discussion on social media, with some saying it makes her look significantly older than her age.

Following the online chatter, Brown addressed the criticism subtly but firmly. On February 27, she shared a screenshot of a British Vogue article titled, "No One Cares How Old You Think Millie Bobby Brown Looks," on her Instagram Stories, simply adding, "thank you." This came after a wave of comments about her red carpet looks at the Los Angeles premiere of her Netflix film The Electric State on February 24 and the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards on February 23.

At the premiere, Brown stunned in a metallic embroidered gown with a corset bodice and dramatic mermaid train, complementing her blonde updo. However, online critics flooded her Instagram comments, with some stating she looked like a "40-year-old woman" and others suggesting her makeup and styling aged her beyond her years. Similar reactions emerged after her SAG Awards appearance, where she wore a sleek braided bun with a peach Louis Vuitton gown.

Brown has previously addressed age-related criticism. In January, she responded to similar remarks by posting on Instagram, "Women grow!! Not sorry about it :)." The post came after another wave of comments questioning her looks, with some users claiming she had "skipped her 20s and went straight into her 40s." Despite the negativity, many fans defended her, praising her beauty and confidence.

Apart from addressing criticism, Brown also made headlines at The Electric State premiere when she corrected a photographer who mistakenly referred to her husband, Jake Bongiovi, as her "boyfriend." In a video captured by The Hollywood Reporter, Brown firmly stated, "He is not my boyfriend." The couple, who tied the knot in May 2024 in a small family ceremony, first connected through Instagram and quickly formed a deep bond.
