Sean Diddy Combs is currently being sued by his artist, Sara Rivers from the group DaBand. Rivers claims she was forced to sleep in an open bay with four other males, despite being married at the time. She claims that the disgraced mogul threatened to remove her from the show “Making the band 2” if she refused to comply.
The lawsuit was filed by attorney Ariel Mitchell and Rivers accuses Sean Diddy Combs of sabotaging her career after he disbanded Da Band while still profiting from their earnings. She also alleges that she was sexually harassed and assaulted, claiming that the “ bad boy” rapper cornered her and touched her inappropriately. Rivers also claims that Diddy made her work under “inhumane” conditions where she was criticized about her appearance.
“Defendant Diddy was often times yelling and ridiculing Plaintiff, especially during times Plaintiff sought him out to redress issues she was facing in the group,” the suit claims. Rivers claims that she was “the only individual who Defendant Diddy scrutinized in such a sexual and humiliating manner,” allegedly once telling her while looking at her backside that “everything needed to get firmed up.”
The lawsuit also names MTV, Viacom, Several ex-bad boy employees, Janice Combs, Diddy’s mother and his ex – assistant #fonzworthBentley.
Following the recent allegations from Sara Rivers, Diddy’s legal team released a statement. “This is yet another example of false claims filed against Mr. Combs. No matter how many lawsuits are filed, it won’t change the fact that Mr. Combs has never sexually assaulted or sex trafficked anyone – man or woman, adult or minor. We live in a world where anyone can file a lawsuit for any reason. With the deadline for New York’s Gender – motivated violence Act expiring tomorrow, it is clear opportunists are rushing to file last – minute, meritless claims. Mr. Combs remains confident he will prevail in court,” they wrote.
