Gigi Hadid is happy in her relationship. The model is finally revealing the details of her relationship with Academy Award nominee Bradley Cooper, more than a year after making her relationship public.
“I respect him so much as a creative,” Gigi told Vogue in an interview published Mar. 11. “And I feel that he gives so much to me: encouragement and, just, belief. For those people you admire to encourage you, it can inspire so much belief in yourself. For example, what would happen if I tried out for this? You take the leap and jump.
However, her romance with Bradley, whom she claims she met at a mutual friend's child's birthday party in the garden, was more of a homecoming than a jump.
"I believe it's crucial to reach a point in a relationship where you know what you deserve and what you want," she said. "And then to locate someone who is in a stage in their life where they are aware of their desires and merits...and you each put forth separate effort to get together and be the greatest possible partners.
Furthermore, even if Gigi, who has a 4-year-old son named Khai with her ex-boyfriend Zayn Malik, calls their relationship "very romantic and happy," the 29-year-old is unlikely to suddenly start talking about Bradley in public. "For whatever reason, it's just not part of our relationship to share," she said. After all, Gigi has learned to accept the criticism from the media because she grew up in the spotlight.
