Rebecca Loos, David Beckham's former personal assistant, has recently reaffirmed her claims of a four-month affair with the soccer star that allegedly occurred over 20 years ago. In a revealing interview with 60 Minutes Australia aired on March 30, 2025, the 47-year-old Dutch former model stood firmly by her allegations despite Beckham's consistent denials.
"In my opinion, it was a very brave thing to do to go up against them," Loos stated during the interview. "I have stuck to the truth. I've never exaggerated. I never lied about a single thing." She emphasized that her only weapon against "the strongest, most powerful couple in the media" was honesty.
Loos began working for Beckham in 2003 following his transfer to Real Madrid from Manchester United. According to her account, the relationship developed while Victoria Beckham was away. "He just kept looking at me and I gave in," Loos claimed. "The way he looks at you... it's quite hard not to."
The allegations first surfaced in April 2004 through an interview with News of the World. Beckham immediately dismissed them as "ludicrous" in a statement to The Guardian. "The simple truth is that I am very happily married and have a wonderful wife and two very special kids," he declared at the time.
Recent interest in this historical controversy was rekindled by the 2023 Netflix documentary "Beckham," where the couple acknowledged a difficult period in their marriage without specifically mentioning Loos. Victoria described the Madrid period as "the most unhappy I've ever been in my entire life," while David admitted, "It was the first time that me and Victoria had been put under that kind of pressure in our marriage."
Loos expressed surprise that the affair was referenced in the documentary, stating, "I never for one second thought that they would touch on this." She added that Beckham's characterization of her claims as "ludicrous" motivated her continued assertions: "It makes you want to stand up for yourself."
Now married to a doctor with whom she shares two teenage sons, Loos has transitioned to a different life. According to 60 Minutes Australia, she works as a certified yoga and meditation teacher as well as a medical assistant.
The Beckhams have remained married since 1999 and have four children – Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz, and daughter Harper. When approached by People magazine regarding Loos' latest interview, representatives for David Beckham did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
