On the Duggar family tree, a new leaf has emerged. Jinger Duggar, who starred in the family's 19 Kids and Counting reality show, and her husband Jeremy Vuolo welcomed their third child, a young boy named Finnegan Charles Vuolo, on March 29.

"The baby is doing well. In a March 30 YouTube video, Jinger sat next to her partner at their home while he held their newborn. She said, "I'm feeling exhausted, but otherwise, it was a pretty great delivery." "I'm just so thankful to God that we have this healthy baby boy here with us."

Five months after the parents revealed in October that they were expecting a sibling for their daughters Felicity, age six, and Evangeline, age four, Finnegan, who weighed eight pounds and one ounce and measured twenty-one inches at birth, was born.

"One of the most special moments for us was when the girls got to come to the hospital and meet this little guy," said Jeremy, "and my family as well."

Felicity was "amazing" and "super excited" to meet her baby brother, according to Jinger. "The first thing she said was, 'It's so cute,'" Jeremy continued.

The former soccer player was shocked by the news, even though the couple, who got married in 2016, wanted to grow their family.

In an interview with People in October, Jeremy said of his wife, "I was literally speechless when she told me." "She did me a good job." Felicity's birthday was that day. "I have a gift for you," Jinger says. It was in a bag from Amazon. "What did she get for me from Amazon?" I ask myself. I'm genuinely stunned when I open it up and see the positive outcome.

Jinger, the sixth of Jim Bob Duggar and Michelle Duggar's 19 children, had a plan for telling the rest of their team. At a family photo shoot, he surprised Felicity and Evangeline with ultrasound pictures and "Big Sis" jackets.

"The news caused Felicity to start bouncing up and down with excitement," Jinger said. "Evangeline wasn't sure how to interpret the news. But we are certain that once the baby arrives, she will be all about her new role as big sis.”

The couple is accepting their new life as boy parents, so their youngest isn't the only one taking on a new role.

Jeremy, who acknowledged that the couple is "curious" about having a boy, said, "If it had been another little girl, being a girl dad has been incredible." Jinger added, "We're happy either way!"

Jinger comes from a big family herself, but she has no intention of carrying on the custom.

The author of People Pleaser: Breaking Free from the Burden of Imaginary Expectations explained that three was "kind of what we had always said was a really good number." "Either three or four. I'm not sure. However, I believe I'm currently leaning toward number three.
