The recent ex of Kristin Cavallari is coming clean. The retired NHL player acknowledged that he knew the revelation was coming after the Laguna Beach alumnus disclosed that she had a covert relationship with Nate Thompson.
In reference to Kristin's life as a public figure, he stated on the April 1 episode of his Energy Line podcast, "I knew it was only a matter of time before things became public—that's her world, that's what she does." "I knew it was probably going to come out eventually because, as you know, her podcast is pretty big and she talks about her relationships."
Although they are no longer together, the 40-year-old hockey player, who has a 9-year-old son named Teague with his ex-wife Cristin Stuart and a 2-year-old daughter named Wylder with his ex-wife Sonni Pacheco, had nothing but positive things to say about Kristin, saying he "wouldn't have called her [his] girlfriend."
He went on to say, "She's a cool person." "We enjoyed ourselves. It simply didn't work out, but life will go on.
Kristin, who is married to Jay Cutler and has three children: Saylor, 9, Jaxon, 10, and Camden, 12, characterized her brief romance with Nate as "one of the deeper relationships I've had, especially in such a short amount of time."”
On the April 1 episode of her podcast, Let's Be Honest, the reality star acknowledged that there was something intangible lacking from their relationship: "That attraction piece for me has to be so on fire for me to want to be with someone." "This guy is a perfect example of that, where I'm like, 'Why can't I fall in love with you?' If I could choose who I want to fall in love with, I would pick you because you're such an amazing guy and we are firing on all other cylinders."
