The most popular momager in the world has started a new hobby. Kris Jenner revealed that she is an advisor and investor in Phoebe Gates, the daughter of Bill and Melinda French Gates, and her friend Sophia Kianni's new online store, Phia, which is about to open.
"It was a no brainer," Kris stated in the Burnouts podcast, which the two of them host, on April 9. "I adore being able to share in your story and journey. It's thrilling.
Kris went on to express her enthusiasm for the business venture that Phoebe, 22, and Sophia, 23, who had been roommates at Stanford, had started. According to their website, the platform will assist users in conducting sustainable online secondhand shopping.
Kris said, "I think you girls are super smart," during the podcast. "I believe you're headed in the right direction. Of course, I think it's great that you're asking for advice.
The former cast member of Keeping Up With the Kardashians actually believes that seeking assistance when launching a new business is "really smart."
She continued, "Not only do you learn how to put up those boundaries and not listen to the noise of people that would give you the wrong information, but just that you go out and you seek advice from business owners or founders that could add to your story and that you could learn more from."
The 69-year-old Kris stated, "That's part of being successful."
After all, Kris has experience launching her own daughters' businesses, such as Kylie Jenner's Kylie Cosmetics and Kim Kardashian's SKIMS, so she knows what it takes.
Kris remarked, "I learn something new every day from these girls," referring to her daughters. "I'm not the artistic type. The business person is me.
Finally, the Kardashians star gave the couple one final piece of advice that she believed was crucial: Have passion.
"Have that real passion for what you do," she continued. "Take part in activities that have meaning for you. It's not always necessary to always fit a square peg into a round hole.”
