Cuban-American actor William Levy, often dubbed the "Cuban Brad Pitt," was arrested in Florida on Monday for disorderly intoxication and trespassing. The 44-year-old star was taken into custody in Weston by the Broward Sheriff's Office and booked into the Broward County Main Jail. Charges against him include "disorderly intoxication in a public place, causing a disturbance and trespassing," as confirmed by Local 10.

Levy appeared in court on Tuesday where bond was set at $250 for each charge, totaling $500. He was also ordered by the judge to "stay away from the location" he is accused of trespassing on. As of Tuesday, he remained behind bars with "no expected release date or projected sentence listed in the jail system," according to CBS News.

The incident reportedly occurred near Levy's residence in the affluent Southwest Ranches neighborhood, although further details remain unclear. In his booking photo released to the media, Levy appeared "emotional and disheveled," further fueling online discussion.

This arrest marks Levy's second legal run-in in less than a year. In 2024, his ex-partner, actress Elizabeth Gutiérrez, contacted police claiming he was "very drunk and in the company of another woman" at his home. Though no charges were filed at that time, the situation drew significant public attention.

Levy, a household name in Latin America, is known for his roles in telenovelas as well as Hollywood productions like Resident Evil: The Final Chapter and Girls Trip. He has also featured in Jennifer Lopez's 2011 music video for "I'm Into You" and was a contestant on Dancing with the Stars in 2012 alongside Cheryl Burke.

Levy shares two children with Gutiérrez: Christopher, recently named Sports Illustrated's Player of the Week in South Florida, and Kailey, an OmegaXL Sport Brand Ambassador. Neither Gutiérrez nor their children have publicly commented on the arrest.

Despite his family-oriented public persona and 12 million Instagram followers, Levy's recent legal issues and high-profile split from Gutiérrez in 2024 have cast a shadow over his career. As of now, he awaits arraignment, and his legal team has yet to issue a public statement.
