In a surprising twist that caught the entertainment world off guard, country music icon Billy Ray Cyrus and British actress Elizabeth Hurley have sparked intense romance rumors after sharing an intimate photo on Easter Sunday. The April 20 Instagram post showed the 63-year-old singer kissing the 59-year-old actress's cheek during a farm visit, captioned simply "Happy Easter."

The casually dressed pair exuded countryside charm in their matching attire. Hurley opted for a blue-and-white plaid flannel shirt paired with jeans and a straw hat, while Cyrus sported a denim shirt with black-and-red striped pants, playfully topped with green bunny ears in celebration of the holiday.

Celebrity reactions came swiftly, including a supportive comment from Hurley's 23-year-old son Damian, who responded with festive emojis. When contacted by media outlets, representatives for Cyrus declined to comment, while Hurley's team has remained silent, further fueling speculation.

This Easter revelation didn't emerge from nowhere. Earlier this month, Hurley had tagged Cyrus in an April 9 Instagram post featuring herself in a bikini. The post, captioned "The most glorious sunset in the glorious Maldives," notably used Cyrus's song "She's Not Cryin' Anymore" as background music, suggesting a developing relationship.

Both celebrities bring significant relationship histories to this potential romance. Cyrus recently experienced a brief marriage to Australian singer Firerose, which ended in May 2024 after just seven months. Prior to that, he concluded his 28-year marriage to Tish Cyrus in April 2022, with whom he shares five children.

Hurley's romantic past includes her marriage to businessman Arun Nayar from 2007 to 2011 and a highly publicized 13-year relationship with actor Hugh Grant that ended in 2000. Despite their breakup, Hurley told People in 2021, "I'm still extremely good friends with Hugh. You know, we went through so much together."

Family connections remain important to both stars. Cyrus maintains relationships with his children, including famous daughter Miley. Meanwhile, Hurley has focused on raising her son Damian, whose father was the late producer Steve Bing, with Grant serving as his godfather.

Industry observers note that this potential relationship marks a significant shift for both celebrities, who have maintained relatively private personal lives in recent years despite their ongoing career success. Entertainment analyst Jennifer Watkins commented, "These are two established stars who've weathered the industry's ups and downs. Their connection, if confirmed, brings together different entertainment worlds in an interesting way."
