Despite their quick engagement on The Bachelor, Kelsey Anderson and Joey Graziadei are taking their time when it comes to wedding preparations.
According to Kelsey, the couple intends to get married in the spring of 2027. The Bachelor Nation alum acknowledged that the date felt too overwhelming, even though the couple had originally planned to tie the knot in the spring of 2026.
In a recent interview with Sports Illustrated Swimsuit, which was published on May 7, Kelsey stated, "We really don't want to be stressed." "We don’t want to just throw things together."
The 27-year-old also wants to make sure that both of their personalities are represented at their wedding.
Kelsey stated, "I want the wedding to be a part of both of us." I'm aware that the men frequently let the woman take charge, but I'm not sure [about that]." I would like it to fairly represent both of us.
And the couple, who earlier this year celebrated one year of their engagement, have only grown closer as a result of spending more time together. "You learn so much more," Kelsey said.
She went on, "I always knew that Joey was a sweet, kind man." "However, as we get to know one another better and after the show, I think his silly side has really come out more."
In a previous Instagram tribute to Kelsey's birthday on April 17, Joey echoed that sentiment, writing, "My life has gotten immensely better with you in it."
"To know Kelsey is to know joy," the 29-year-old went on to say. "She infuses any space she enters with joy and laughter. Even though she follows her own rhythm, she always adds a little flair.
He continued, "Our love is anything but ordinary, and I can’t wait to continue to see it grow."
