On Monday, May 12, Camp reposted a photo of herself originally shared by Whipkey on Instagram Stories. The caption was poetic and affectionate: "Her smile is a poem / Her eyes are roses / Her laugh is music for dancing." Camp added a burning heart emoji and tagged Whipkey when re-sharing the post.
Camp has been engaging with Whipkey's content for a while, leaving comments on Whipkey's Instagram posts from February 23 and March 8. On May 3, a fan posted a screenshot to X (formerly Twitter) of a photo Camp had shared showing Whipkey sipping wine, captioned "DATE NIGHT," adding more fuel to the rumors.
Camp and Whipkey also appeared together in a TikTok video uploaded by Mr. Big USA on February 12. In it, they opened up about bad first date experiences. Camp recalled waiting 45 minutes for a man who then said she looked better on screen than in real life. "I was like, 'Okay,'" she laughed.
The conversation then shifted when Camp was asked what she expects from men on dates. Her reply was candid: "Well, I don't expect anything. Not anymore, because I like women and it's great." In that moment, Whipkey put her arm around Camp as they both smiled warmly.
